LOCAL AND OLDHAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE RESULTS

Brent Rohrbach was the winner and Lane Blasingame was the runnerup in the Junior Division of the Vega School Spelling Bee. In the Senior Division for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, Josh Allemand was the champion and Catie Fangman was the runnerup. These four students will represent Vega in the Oldham County Spelling Bee on Wednesday.

In the County Bee, Brent Rohrbach was the Junior Bee Champion. Josh Allemand was the Senior Bee Champion. Josh will represent Oldham County in the 2010 Amarillo Globe-News Regional Spelling Bee to be held on the West Texas A&M University campus on Saturday, March 6.
