High School Principal

Justin W. Shultz is starting his second year as High School Principal. He has been with the Vega ISD for eight years and first came to Vega in 1997 as a Math teacher and Varsity Girls basketball Coach. Justin and his wife Shanna have three children Tanner (age 10), Tate (age 7), and Taryn (age 5). All three children attend Vega Elementary. Justin has established a foundation of success do to hard work determination and belief in the difference a person can make. He stated, "We all are going to make a difference, the challenge and the choice we have before us is that difference going to be positive or negative? His goal is to continue to make a positive difference in the community and students of Vega. One of his favorite quotes is, "Doing what is right is not always easy and doing what is easy is not always right." Having the discernment to know the difference is the key.
