📣 Important Update for the 2025–2026 School Year 📵

In compliance with House Bill 1481, students are not allowed to use personal communication devices (cell phones, tablets, smartwatches, etc.) at any point during the school day—this includes passing periods, lunch, and athletics.

✅ At Vega ISD, we’re updating our campus procedures to follow the law while still keeping communication open when it matters most.

✔️ Devices brought to school must be turned off and kept in backpacks before entering the building.

Join us Wednesday, August 6th for our Title I / GT Parent Meeting at 5:00 p.m. in the auditorium — then stick around for Meet the Teacher from 5:30–6:30 p.m.!

👋 Come say hi to your teachers!
📚 PreK–6th Grade families can drop off school supplies!
💵 7th–12th grade students can turn in their $50 computer usage fee.
💻 High school students can pick up their Chromebooks that night — 7th & 8th graders will get theirs on the first day of school.
🚗 High school students, don’t forget your driver’s license and vehicle tag number if you need a parking spot!
📘 Yearbooks will be available for pickup if you pre-ordered one!
