Today marked an incredible Spelling Bee day at Vega ISD, with a whopping 48 students participating across grades 3-8! 🌟👏
🏅 In the Elementary spelling bee, 15 talented spellers faced off in a nail-biting 18 rounds of words! 🤯 Huge congratulations to Gentry Naughton, who emerged victorious as the WINNER! 🏆🌟 Kendleigh Barfoot & Creed Ragland also shone brightly as our outstanding runner-ups. 👏👏
🎓 Moving on to the Junior High Spelling Bee, where a whopping 33 spellers tackled 6 challenging rounds of words. 🧠🔠 Our JH Spelling Champion is none other than Mason Carlson! 🌟🏅 Logan Davis & Chris Lamm demonstrated exceptional skills and earned well-deserved runner-up positions. 🎉

Vega ISD will have a 10:00am late start on Tuesday, January 9th with buses running 2 hours late.
Full day Pre-k arrive at 10:00a.m. half day pre-k will come at 12:25p.m.
