📣 Important Update for the 2025–2026 School Year 📵

In compliance with House Bill 1481, students are not allowed to use personal communication devices (cell phones, tablets, smartwatches, etc.) at any point during the school day—this includes passing periods, lunch, and athletics.

✅ At Vega ISD, we’re updating our campus procedures to follow the law while still keeping communication open when it matters most.

✔️ Devices brought to school must be turned off and kept in backpacks before entering the building.
