Vega ISD proudly congratulates 14 outstanding teachers who earned a Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) Designation this year! Among these exceptional educators, 9 teachers earned the prestigious Master designation and 5 earned the Exemplary designation — the two highest levels of distinction awarded through the TIA program. These honors reflect the incredible dedication, instructional excellence, and positive impact our teachers make every day in the lives of Vega students. We are proud of their commitment to academic excellence and grateful for the difference they make in our district and community. At the time of eligibility, only STAAR growth area teachers in math and reading and PreK–3rd grade teachers qualified for the TIA program. Vega ISD has since submitted an expanded application to TEA to include all teaching areas for future TIA eligibility. Congratulations to these amazing educators on this well-deserved achievement!
